What you will do
- Be the company’s core driver of the business plan and sales strategy by continuously reviewing, challenging, and improving the company's Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy and business development, together with the CEO and as part of the core leadership team.
- Identifying customer value is at the core of your DNA: You mentor the team in shaping the approach to different customers, their relevant use cases and on specific business case basis; always being the most valuable sparring partner to your team members.
- You identify and grow leads from early stage to firm proposals and are catalyst for closing deals, leveraging the larger organization, but not limited to engineering, supply chain and project management, as well as our wider stakeholder network.
- On key project deals you are actively involved and support the project acquisition process through coordination of critical commercial elements.
- You develop the company’s approach to offering fully financed solutions, incl. different business models such as energy contracting, leasing models, financing etc.).
- You guide the sales process discussions internally and drive process alignment with key interfaces (i.e. engineering, project management, supply chain and finance).
- You actively and constantly support your wider team in project acquisition and sales pipeline development. Consolidating gained insights into reporting for key stakeholders (team, management, board) to drive alignment, next steps and decision making comes natural to you.
- You develop and implement strategic customer initiatives – close collaboration with marketing will support a tailored approach to our customers across country markets and segments.
HOW WE ORGANIZE OURSELVES
- Our Commercial Department currently consists of 14 international colleagues including you.
- You will lead & support our Proposal Manager, the Director Proposal Engineering and the VP Project Development, who is responsible with his team for winning new customers and project orders.
- We would like to develop you in the mid-term to into the Chief Sales & Commercial Officer as part of the C-team, including responsibility for all commercial activities – incl. project development, go-to-market strategy, proposal management and our proposal engineering.
- You report directly to our CEO.
